(Wyoming News Now) - In 2020, Casper Game and Fish Regional Fisheries Supervisor, Matthew Hahn, along with Regional Fisheries Biologist, Jeff Glaid, came up with a plan to see if the scarring on trout on the Miracle Mile was unique to just that section or if it applied to the rest of the river.

Some strong storms are still possible early this evening, especially into the Nebraska Panhandle. Low temperatures tonight will range from the 30s to the upper 40s.
USPS ‘repurposes’ Casper distribution center, local mail routed to Billings
Local mail will be routed through Billings, Montana, now that a U.S. Postal Service facility in Casper is set to be downsized. The USPS announced last week that, after an agency analysis and a public comment period, it will repurpose the processing and distribution center in Casper as a local processing center, which would mean some mail processing operations would move to Billings.

The Black Hills Lignite, LLC of Glenrock, Wyoming has filed a regular mining permit amendment application with the Land Quality Division of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality for the mining of leonardite in Converse County, Wyoming. The proposed mine area is approximately 22 miles north of Glenrock, Wyoming off Converse County 23. The application may be viewed at the Cheyenne Office of the Land Quality Division. The application will be readvertised for public comment prior to approval by the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality.
