Nauman Hussain was found guilty in May 2023 and sentenced to 5 to 15 years in prison for allowing the Ford Excursion stretch limousine to remain on the road – despite knowing that it was in bad condition. The brakes needed to be redone, and the vehicle had not been inspected.

Amsterdam woman killed in one-car Thruway crash
CATSKILL – An evening car crash on the northbound Thruway in the Town of Catskill has claimed the life of a 66-year-old Amsterdam woman, State Police report. The driver, Regina Levine, was driving between the Saugerties and Catskill exits at around 6:40 p.m. on April 19 when for an unknown reason, her 2004 Ford Escape, traveling in the passing lane, ran off the road, went through a guiderail, struck an earth embankment and overturned.

The man responsible for the March 2023 crash that left a teenager without his dominant arm accepted a plea deal Monday. Michael Bernard Jr. is facing 1 to 3 years in prison when he is sentenced in June, in connection with a crash on March 5, 2023 which left 18-year-old Nate Parslow without his arm.
