Woman Wanted in Multiple Middle TN Counties Arrested in Mt. Juliet
May 1, 2024 – Tuesday afternoon, a Mt. Juliet officer stopped a theft attempt at Academy Sports after spotting a suspicious vehicle. As a result, officers managed to apprehend two individuals, one of whom was wanted across four Middle Tennessee counties. The 26-year-old female suspect from Nashville had a history of Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Robbery charges and was wanted for nearly a dozen felony offenses, including theft, evading arrest, and probation violations in Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Montgomery counties.
Concert at Tennessee cemetery moved after complaints
GALLATIN, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Tennessee city has changed the venue of a concert planned to be held in a cemetery after receiving complaints from the community. The City of Gallatin, Tennessee said a bluegrass concert, part of the city’s Decoration Day celebration, was originally intended to be held in the Gallatin City Cemetery. However, the city moved the venue to Gallatin’s Downtown Square after social media complaints about having music in the cemetery prompted organizers to change plans.

Motorcyclist Identified in Deadly Accident on Broadway
The motorcyclist killed in Friday’s 6:30 p.m. crash in the 1400 block of Broadway in downtown Nashville is identified as James L. White, 21. The preliminary investigations shows that White was riding a BMW motorcycle inbound on Broadway at a high rate of speed when the driver of a Jeep Waggoneer pulled out of the parking lot at 1101 Broadway and the motorcycle collided with the front corner of the Jeep.
