Milford man charged with grandmother's murder, house arson
MILFORD TWP., PIKE COUNTY (WOLF) — A Milford man has been charged with criminal homicide and arson for allegedly killing his grandmother and setting her home on fire. George Sisco, 28, is currently in the Pike County Jail after being taken into custody Friday by the Milford Borough Police Department and the State Police.

Warren County, NJ – The federal Veterans Administration (VA) has announced they are establishing a Vet Center Outstation in Hackettstown and a Vet Center Community Access Point in Morristown. These developments come after a significant effort from local leaders. Assemblywoman Fantasia, formerly a Sussex County Board of Commissioners member, supported a resolution in 2021 urging the creation of a Vet Center in Northwestern New Jersey. A Pike County man allegedly stabbed his grandmother, set her on fire and told Pennsylvania State Police troopers that he believed that she was the devil. George F. Sisco, 28, of Milford, is charged with criminal homicide in the death of Margie S. Finlay, 67, of Milford, according to a news release from PSP Troop R.

Sparta's Animal Control Officer Recognized for 23 Year Service to Community
SPARTA, NJ – The township’s animal control officer, Don Critchlaw was recognized at the township council meeting on Tuesday during Police Chief Jeff McCarrick’s report in honor of National Animal Control Officers Week. He said he put the alligator in a cat carrier and had to bring it home for the night because it was Sunday.
