Lady Bulldogs knocked out
Last week, Wayne hosted Districts playoffs and lost to Savanna (7-4) and Stratford (16-4) to end their season. The Lady Bulldogs finished with a 13-6 record. “We just didn’t play our best in both games. One positive is that Ava (Stottlemyre) did so well in the circle for us. She’s a sophomore and this is her first season getting the bulk of the pitching,” head coach Nikki Herrin said.
