Charges consolidated against mom accused of killing kids
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The murder charges against a Festus woman who told police she killed her two children in May have been consolidated. Ashley Parmeley, 36, was charged with first-degree murder in Jefferson County and first-degree murder in St. Francois County. Court documents state she tried to kill her son in St. Francois County before she shot her 9-year-old daughter Scarlet and started driving with the kids in the car. During the car ride, Parmeley realized her son Isaac, 2, was still alive. She then reportedly drowned him at Timber Creek Resort.
