Teen hurt in crash on Missouri 124 in Boone County
A 16-year-old Hallsville teen was hurt in a crash Thursday night in Boone County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online crash report states that the crash happened on Missouri 124 at Route U at 10:50 pm. The report states that the teen was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer eastbound.

Boonville gets new weather radar atop its water tower
Just west of Columbia in Cooper County, Boonville is now the new owner of a Climavision radar. The Louisville-based company uses x-band technology to get radar readings closer to the surface. X-band radars are smaller than the normal radars you would see in Kansas City or St. Louis, but they do have a higher target resolution, giving a finer picture to meteorologists of what is happening closer to the ground.
