Missouri Man Sentenced to 60 Months for Meth Distribution in Central Illinois
A Missouri man from Chillicothe, Scott Young, 37, was handed a 60-month prison sentence on April 25th for pushing meth in the Land of Lincoln. According to a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of Illinois, Young was busted distributing the narcotic on two separate occasions back in 2019.
Teen driver injured in Route C crash near Ewing
On April 19, 2024, at approximately 9:15 a.m., an accident occurred on Route C, 5.5 miles east of Ewing, Missouri, involving a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the truck was traveling westbound when it veered off the right side of the roadway and struck the ground. Mendon man charged with failure to yield at intersection after Thursday crash near Loraine
LORAINE, Ill. — Minor injuries were reported after a traffic accident Thursday morning at the intersection of Illinois Route 336 and E. 1750th Street north of Loraine. Deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Department responded at approximately 9:14 a.m. to a two-vehicle accident on Illinois Route 336. After a brief on-scene investigation, it was determined that a 2012 GMC Sierra driven by Arthur L. McMullen, 81, of Loraine failed to yield to oncoming traffic and crashed into a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Denise M. Welsh, 50, of Milan.
