Center Township in Beaver County paid nearly $1 million last year to settle a civil lawsuit following the Nov. 6, 2022, death of Industry man Kenneth Vinyard at the apparent hands of an off-duty local police officer at a homicide scene in the Walmart Plaza parking lot.
Fire damages Marshall Township home and garage
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Crews were called to a house fire in Marshall Township on Wednesday night. The fire was at a home on the 400 block of McKean Drive in Marshall Township. There is major damage to the house's garage, which is where firefighters believe the blaze started. The call came in at around 9 p.m. One person is being evaluated, but the extent of their injuries is not known at this time. The fire marshal is now investigating. The cause of the fire is not known.
Vandalism at 2 Pittsburgh-area parks under investigation
AMBRIDGE, Pa. (KDKA) -- Ambridge police are investigating vandalism at two parks.Investigators say someone tried to break into the new Henning Street Splash Pad, and in doing so, damaged the brand-new fence.
