NPSO investigating 5 overnight vehicle burglaries
NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB) - The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office said they are investigating five overnight vehicle burglaries just south of Natchitoches. The vehicle burglaries were reported in the 100 block of Vienna Bend Road, the 100 block of Riverside Lane and the 100 block of Briarwood Court around 3:26 a.m.

NATCHITOCHES, La. (KSLA) - Natchitoches Arts Council is asking artists to submit designs for a 45-year-old year traditional Christmas Festival poster design. The Natchitoches Arts Council (NAC) is seeking artists to submit designs in a contest for the 2024 Natchitoches Christmas Festival poster. The theme of the poster is “Christmas in Natchitoches”.
Natchitoches Juneteenth celebration set for June 15
NATCHITOCHES, La. - The City of Natchitoches is excited to host the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 15. The festivities will kick off at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center at 10 a.m. until noon with a Juneteenth Basketball Tournament. Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including Future Leaders, 1st Responders and a Celebrity Basketball Tournament. There will be a Health Fair, Pop-up Shops, a portable park, a 3-point contest and performances by Glam Dolls and Weaver Elites.
Two men face drug related charges following traffic stop
MINDEN, La. - A traffic stop in Webster Parish on Thursday led to the arrest of two men. Tyler Hodges of Elm Grove and Elroy Perez of Doyline were arrested following a traffic stop on Harold Montgomery Road. Inside the car deputies found several illegal narcotics and bags filled with a white substance.
