Police arrest Buffalo man following foot chase on South Park Ave
BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Police Department alongside the Lackawanna Police joined forces on an investigation that lead to the arrest of a 30-year-old man. The Erie County Sheriff's Office says Mario Pittman is accused of leading authorities on a foot chase down South Park Avenue and Olcott Avenue in South Buffalo on the morning of April 30.

Court rules on JCPenney's appeal of eminent domain at Boulevard Mall
AMHERST, N.Y. — JCPenney’s second attempt to block the Town of Amherst’s use of eminent domain at the Boulevard Mall site has failed. Penney Property Sub Holdings LLC, which owns the 2.3 acres of retail space where JCPenney operates and the associated parking spaces, started the appeals process late last year after its initial petition was rejected.
