Meijer donates $3 million to help build Michigan's first children's rehab hospital
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — To help build Michigan's first rehabilitation hospital for children, Meijer has donated $3 million. The funding will help make the Joan Secchia Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital a reality. It is a joint partnership between Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation and Corewell Health Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.

Embellish Handbells playing Spring Concert this weekend

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The eastbound M-6 ramp to eastbound I-96 closed at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 28 and is expected to remain closed through June 21. The closure comes as part of a $7.5 million project by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) to rebuild the M-6/I-96 interchange in Cascade Township.
