Minnesota- Bike to School Day is on Wednesday, May 8. Every year, MnDOT and Minnesota Safe Routes to School sponsor Bike to School Day to promote safe biking and walking activities. Students can bike or walk to school the whole way or try commuting a few blocks with friends. Several schools in our area are participating.

PROCTOR, Minn.- After losing twice to Cloquet last season, the Proctor baseball team had their revenge on Thursday, taking down the Lumberjacks 7-5 on Thursday. Proctor was the first to score when Tyler Berglund hit an RBI single in the bottom of the first inning. Cloquet would later take the lead 5-3 after scoring four runs in the top of the fifth, but the Rails quickly responded with four runs of their own in the bottom half of the fifth.
