Missing Person Alert: 11-year-old Sha’niece Watson
LYNNWOOD—The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of 11-year-old Sha’niece Watson who left her Lynnwood residence on foot, Saturday, April 27. Sha’niece has left home in the past and was most recently located in Island County. She was last wearing a grey hoodie, blue jeans, white shoes and a dark colored backpack. She is 5-feet 7-inches tall, 110 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.
Farewell to Crystal City Underground, the DC Area’s Strangest Mall
For nearly 50 years, Jack Levonian’s photography store has occupied a small piece of subterranean real estate in Arlington, a catacomb called the Crystal City Underground. Levonian and his Metro Camera shop moved in after the underground mall opened in 1976. It was the happening place to be back then, he says, a shopping center of the future in an Arlington neighborhood that had little to offer back then beyond government offices.
Sequim Police Sergeant John Southard promoted to Deputy Chief
The City of Sequim has a new Deputy Chief. Sergeant John Southard was sworn in yesterday, May 1st as the cities new Deputy Chief. Southard was hired as a City of Sequim Police Officer in 2007. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2017. Southard served for over 20 years in the United States Army National Guard. Before working for the City he was a Dive Officer and Research Scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Washington University in Environmental Policy and Assessment.

Two Arrested in Needles for Illicit Goods; One Jailed, the Other Cited and Released
In a recent police sweep in Needles, CA, two suspects were busted for carrying illicit goods early Wednesday morning. Cops descended upon the 3500 block of Needles Highway while responding to a call for service when they encountered Jeremy Anderson and Elizabeth Platt, both 32, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
