In the good ol’ days (8-10 years ago, when the older half of the CITIUS MAG staff was last in college), 9:30 was really movin’ for a men’s DMR and sub-11 meant you were turning heads on the women’s side. Fast forward to 2024, where neither time will put you in the top 20 in any given season. The top 13 men’s DMRs have been run since 2021, and 9 of the 10 fastest women’s marks were run this season.

Former West Memphis head coach Erica Leak hired to lead UAPB
PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KAIT) - A familiar face on Fast Break Friday Night will now lead a Division 1 program. Erica Leak was introduced Thursday afternoon as the new UAPB head women’s basketball coach. She spent the last 4 seasons at West Memphis. Leak led the Lady Devils to 71 wins, the 2023 5A East championship, 4 state tournament berths, and the 2021 5A state finals. She also guided the Forrest City program to prep hoops success from 2015 to 2018.
