Taylor, of Charleroi, was traveling south in a 2019 Chevrolet 3500 on State Route 8, in Cherrytree Township, Venango County, at 4:16 p.m. on Thursday, April 25.

Traffic signal to begin operating at deadly Dravosburg intersection
A new traffic signal is opening earlier than expected at the site of last year's crash that killed a 15-year-old. The traffic light will be set up over the intersection of Richland Avenue and Fifth Street in Dravosburg, Allegheny County. The announcement came from state Rep. Nick Pisciottano, who said this will make the intersection a lot safer for drivers and pedestrians and cut down on speeding.
Fire damages vacant buildings in Monessen
Fire damaged two vacant buildings in Monessen early Sunday morning. The fire was reported at 3:30 a.m. on Rostraver Street, a Westmoreland County Public Safety supervisor said. Monessen firefighters were assisted by fire departments from neighboring communities, the supervisor said. Additional details were not available Sunday morning.
