VIDEO: 120 mph chase in Echols County ends in 2 arrests
ECHOLS COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - Two suspects have been arrested in connection to a high-speed chase and drug possession in Echols County, according to the sheriff’s office. On Friday, April 26, Echols County deputies tried to pull over a car on Highway 129 S and Ben Daniels Farm Road when the car reportedly sped off and almost hit a deputy, according to a statement.
After teen shooting deaths, curfew laws are front and center
WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — There have been recent shootings in Bibb and Houston where teenagers have died. Some have happened in the early morning hours like 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. Over the weekend, a 17-year-old was shot and killed in the parking lot near Planet Fitness on Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard in Macon. Last Friday, a 16-year-old was shot and taken to the hospital in Warner Robins after an ambush.

Middle Georgia ag businesses set to save thousands with over $160k in energy grants
WASHINGTON (WGXA)- Three Middle Georgia ag businesses will save thousands per year in energy costs after being awarded more than $160,000 in grant funding. Congressman Sanford Bishop, of District 2, made the announcement Wednesday morning. Bishop serves as the top Democrat leading the U.S. House Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related agencies.
