Anoka County Offers Free Document Shredding to Thwart Identity Theft on May 4 at Coon Rapids Recycling Center
Residents and small businesses in Anoka County have the opportunity to safely dispose of their sensitive documents at an upcoming paper shredding event. The service will be available on Saturday, May 4 from 9:00 A.M. to noon at the Coon Rapids Recycling Center, located at 1827 111th Ave. NW, as reported by the city's official announcement. Participants are encouraged to take advantage of the no-cost shredding offer but should note there's a five-box limit per visit.
Three killed in accident in Bradford County
Athens Township, Pa. — Three people were killed early Tuesday morning in a vehicle crash just north of the Sayre Bridge in Athens Township. The driver, 46-year-old Brett W. Relyea, was traveling south on Riverside Drive at a high rate of speed around 2:30 a.m. April 23 when he lost control of his 2013 Nissan Altima, according to Athens Township Police. Police say the car then traveled a distance across the road and hit a parked 2001 Ford F350 pickup truck. Relyea and his two passengers, Melanie M. Schnurbusch, 42, and Arthur G. Bidlack, 46, were pronounced dead at the scene by the Bradford County Coroner. Police say an autopsy was performed on all three occupants of the vehicle. A toxicology report and the investigation are pending.

Officials seek missing Ramsey man, whose vehicle was found in St. Francis
RAMSEY, Minn. — Authorities in the north metro are asking the public to keep an eye out for a missing man. Anoka County officials said 62-year-old Robert Scott Stelling was last seen around 2:30 p.m. Saturday leaving his home in Ramsey. A few hours later, his vehicle was found near the 22900 block of Rum River Boulevard Northwest in St. Francis.Officials described Stelling as 5'7" and 264 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt with blue dots when he was last seen.Anyone with information about Stelling is asked to call Anoka County Dispatch at 763-427-1212 or 911.
