Boater Blake Hodge of Oxford caught a five-bass limit weighing 17 pounds, 6 ounces, Saturday to win the MLF Phoenix Bass Fishing League presented by T-H Marine on Grenada Lake. School bus overturned Friday morning in Grenada
GRENADA, Miss. (WTVA) — A school bus overturned Friday morning, April 19 in Grenada County. The wreck happened on Highway 333. Robbie Buchanan of the Grenada School District said the driver was the only person onboard. Buchanan said the driver if OK. Law enforcement is investigating the wreck.

Drew students witnessed the first total solar eclipse visible in the United States since 2017 on April 8 from around 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. A solar eclipse occurs when the moon covers the sun, creating a shadow on earth. There are three different kinds of eclipses: total, partial and annular. If one is in the path of totality, or total coverage, the moon will cover and appear to be the same size as the sun for a few minutes.
