Drivers Escape Serious Injury in Rollover Crash
(WGTD)---A car traveling at speeds believed to be in excess of 100 miles per hour rear-ended another in Mt. Pleasant Sunday evening. The offender wasn't hurt. The driver of the vehicle that was struck was taken to the hospital for minor injuries, according to a news release from Mt. Pleasant police.
Two people hurt in Vernon County crash
TOWN OF FRANKLIN, Wis. (WEAU) - Two people are hurt after a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Franklin Saturday night. According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened on U.S. Highway 14 around 5:50 p.m. 38-year-old Brett Burkum of Viroqua was reportedly traveling North when his vehicle moved into the opposite lane, hitting a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Chloe Billington of Soldiers Grove. Both Billington and Burkum were hurt and taken to hospitals.
Dog shot after biting deputy in Columbia Co. pursuit
TOWN OF CALEDONIA, Wis. (WMTV) - A dog was shot and a man was arrested Friday afternoon after police attempted a traffic stop in Columbia County.
