18-year-old charged with Robbery in connection to shooting on Stratford Park Dr.
ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)—The Roanoke Police Department took an 18-year-old into custody in connection to a shooting on Stratford Park Drive that happened on Wednesday, April 24. On April 24, officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Stratford Dr. on a shots fired report. Officers found two victims with gunshot wounds, and they were taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Man arrested for robbery that led to shooting death
ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Roanoke Police have arrested an 18-year-old man for a robbery in which another man was shot to death. Jae’vian M. Allen of Roanoke County is in jail. The man who was shot during the robbery has been identified as Javonte D. Smith, 19 of Roanoke. Police say he has died of his injuries.
