Rain Likely to Continue Through The Weekend
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Tonight, storms may continue but otherwise skies will be mostly cloudy. Temperatures overnight dont drop much as we see upper 40s and some low 50s possible for morning lows to start out your Friday. Tomorrow, temperatures stay on the cooler side with on and off rain showers likely throughout the day. Temperatures likely only getting into the 50s in Rapid City by tomorrow afternoon. Rainfall is still expected over the course of the next three days with the bulk of the rain in the Black Hills and stretching onto the central SD Plains. Futurecast shows that we are seeing showers continue throughout the day tomorrow, but I am thinking that this bulk of rain will be more west, near the Black Hills. Rain showers will be scattered throughout the day on Saturday and will stick around through Sunday morning where a few snowflakes could mix in, in the Hills. Overnight, temperatures remain on the mild side with 40s and 50s likely across the entire area. A few storms could linger into the overnight hours with mostly cloudy skies prevailing otherwise. Tomorrow, on and off showers are possible and in some of the heavier bands of rain, a few rumbles of thunder are possible. Where the rain will be, temperatures stay in the 50s all day with others seeing the 60s by the afternoon. The next three days in NE Wyoming and the Northern Hills shows that we are going to be looking at temperatures taking a dip as we head into the weekend with 40s likely both Saturday and Sunday.
