The Rapid City Police Department (RCPD) investigated multiple incidents this week. Gunshots were reported in the 3400 block of Bunker Drive, where shell casings were found. A bullet struck a residence in the 900 block of Sagewood Street. A missing 15-year-old girl, Sayla Varnadoe, was later found safe. Lastly, a Pierre man, David J. Shangreaux Jr., was charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of a 17-year-old female, Evie Maxey, at a Pierre residence.
