FINCASTLE, Va. (WSET) — A Fincastle man was taken into custody after a domestic violence abduction led to a standoff with sheriff's deputies late Monday. Sixty-year-old Richard Boone Willard, Jr. is facing multiple charges, including abduction, assault and battery of a family member, preventing persons from calling 911, reckless handling of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
