GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) - A Goshen High School student faces possible charges after making a threat on social media to “shoot up a school,” strict officials say. Goshen Police Chief Bob Rose says officers determined there is no credible threat of violence to the school, according to the district’s letter to families.
Wilmington man gets community control in Highland County extortion case
A Wilmington man was sentenced to community control this week and ordered to pay restitution after pleading guilty to an extortion charge in Highland County. As previously reported, Christian I. Kittrell, 23, was indicted by a Highland County grand jury in March and charged with two counts of extortion, both third-degree felonies.

BLANCHESTER — Bryce Sipple homered and Blanchester stole 15 bases Thursday in a 7-3 win over McClain in non-league baseball at Bott Field on the BHS campus. “I love the way this team competes,” Blanchester manager Aaron Lawson said. “We pride ourselves on hustling and trying to take the extra 90 feet. That really helped and was the difference maker.”
