New Jersey man turns himself in for attempted murder charge in October shooting
A second arrest has been made in connection to an alleged attempted murder that happened in Shaftsbury in Oct. Police say 29-year-old Matthew Osei, from Colonia, NJ, turned himself in on Friday. Osei was held without bail following his arraignment. He’s facing attempted murder charges, along with kidnapping, and aggravated assault.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. - Fatal crashes are on the rise in New Jersey. So far in 2024, deadly crashes are up 27% statewide. The most traffic deaths are happening in Central Jersey, including Middlesex County. South Brunswick has had five deadly crashes this year, with a total of eight fatalities.
