Box truck slams into Armstrong County country market; 2 injured
A freight truck crash into the side of an Armstrong County grocery store sent two people to the hospital Saturday morning. Clarion County dispatch said that the crash happened around 8:22 a.m. in the 100 block of North River Avenue in Parker City. Photos of the crash into Parker Country Market show a box truck with its front end lifted up into the building at an angle.
Redkey man arrested on Portland rooftop charged with dealing in meth, fentanyl
PORTLAND, Ind. — A Redkey man apprehended on the roof of a building in downtown Portland has been accused of dealing in meth and fentanyl. Timothy J. Slaven, 39, was charged in recent days in Jay Circuit Court with dealing in meth, dealing in a narcotic drug, resisting law enforcement and possession of paraphernalia.
Indy man arrested for allegedly threatening officers with a hatchet at east side Walmart
INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man has been charged after allegedly threatening police with a hatchet at an east side Walmart. According to recently filed court documents, shortly before 2:30 p.m. on April 9, an off-duty officer with the Albany Police Department was contacted by the loss prevention unit of the Walmart located at 10617 E. Washington St. about a man who was seen acting suspiciously.
