A Hesperia man died Wednesday after he was struck by a train while chasing after his dog, a Golden Retriever named Mylo, authorities said. Hector Espinoza, 37, died at the scene of the collision, which took place shortly before noon on a set of train tracks alongside the 15600 block of Halinor Street, according to San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department and coroner's officials.
