Lindbergh Schools celebrates the Class of 2024
Lindbergh High School celebrated the Class of 2024 at its graduation ceremony at Chaifetz Arena May 22, pictured above. According to the district, of the 535 graduates, 79.5% plan to attend college, 9.3% plan to enter the workforce, 5.7% are planning a gap year, 4.7% plan to enroll in schools of advanced training and 0.7% plan to join the military.

Southern Illinois University School of Nursing (SON) has announced a new partnership with Touchette Regional Hospital of Centreville. The joint venture provides eligible employees the opportunity to earn the Bachelor of Science in Nursing with online courses and services that allow nurses to juggle busy schedules and be successful in the virtual classroom.
Adrienne Fox-Ray Named New Assistant Principal At Westchester
The Kirkwood School District Board of Education on June 3 approved the hire of Adrienne Fox-Ray as assistant principal at Westchester Elementary School, effective July 1. Fox-Ray has been in education for 18 years. She has worked with students, staff and families in Kirkwood Schools for 10 years and has been at Westchester for the last eight years. Fox-Ray is currently an instructional specialist at Westchester. She was named Westchester’s Teacher of the Year in 2022.
Optimist Club of St. Charles awards scholarships
The Optimist Club of St. Charles awarded scholarships to five high school seniors at the Annual Awards Ceremony on May 14. The awardees and their parents were guests at the regular Optimist Club noon meeting. This year’s awardees are: Grace Kunimann (Lutheran High School), Chase Nagel (St. Charles High School), Adam Ruffing (Orchard Farm High School), Julia Steele (St. Charles West High School) and Ian Wiley (St. Charles West High School).
