Newport News man sentenced over 6 year after being stopped with gun, drugs and unrestrained child in car
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A Newport News man has been sentenced to over six years for drugs and weapons charges. Daquan Montreal Lane, 29, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine; possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime; and being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. He was sentenced to six years and six months in prison.
