Suspect claims self-defense after two people shot in Akron
AKRON, Ohio — An Akron man is accused of shooting a man and woman over the weekend, reportedly telling police the victims had pulled a gun on him. Despite his claims, Gregory Prunty, 23, is now being held in the Summit County Jail on two counts of felonious assault and a count of discharging firearms, police say.
