Man suspected of raping victim at gunpoint assigned trial date
A trial date was set Wednesday for exactly one year after a man was suspected of sexually assaulting a woman after breaking into her Oildale home. Alvin Carter, 37, was charged with forcible oral copulation, first-degree burglary, burglary with the intent to commit oral copulation and kidnapping. He has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.
