Boys robbed at gunpoint on St. Louis basketball court
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Two boys were robbed on a St. Louis basketball court Monday. The boys, ages 13 and 14, were on a basketball court in the 500 block of Loughborough when the three suspects approached them around 6:30 p.m. Police said one of the suspects had a gun and demanded cell phones from the boys. After stealing the phones, the suspects ran off.

Two St. Louis men accused of murder-for-hire in teen’s shooting death
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Two men from St. Louis have been accused of being involved in the murder of an 18-year-old in 2021. According to a release, Anthony Stewart, 25, and Patrick Robinson, 23, were both indicted on May 8 on one count of conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire and one count of murder-for-hire.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A man has been charged after he was shot while reportedly trying to break into a home Tuesday morning. The incident took place around 4 a.m. Tuesday in the 2200 block of Empress Drive. According to St. Louis County police, a man forced entry into a home when the homeowner shot him. The suspect ran off on foot but was tracked down by a police K9. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following the shooting.

ST. LOUIS — A female guard and a male inmate at the City Justice Center were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries following an assault there Wednesday. The Department of Public Safety confirmed that at around 11 a.m., a detainee assaulted a corrections officer with a closed fist while opening a door.
