Mohave County Trio Suspected of Renting Out Deceased Person's Home and Selling Stolen Cars
A trio has been busted for the macabre business of renting and selling off a dead person's property, Mohave County Sheriff's Office reports. In an eerie twist of greed, 38-year-old Kevin Andrew Strawbridge and 30-year-old Jami Demaria, both from Mohave Valley, had allegedly set up shop in a deceased individual’s home and were caught red-handed dealing in stolen wheels. The fraudulent trio was rounded up after a probe that was launched last month upon the discovery of squatters in the Pebble Lake area residence of the departed soul.
Lake Havasu City Police Redirect Services Amidst Lobby Renovation
Residents of Lake Havasu City in need of police records will have to navigate some temporary changes this week. The Lake Havasu City Police Department's lobby is undergoing a facelift from May 16 through May 20, pushing public access services to a different location. With the main lobby entrance off-limits, the public is directed to the jail visitation entrance for the records unit, which remains open during standard business hours Monday through Friday.

Bullhead City police said the medical examiner identified the dead person as Graig Salzer, 63, of Bullhead City. Police found Salzer's body on May 7, in a remote desert area off of the Bullhead Parkway, and the medical examiner identified the body as Salzer May 15.

BULLHEAD CITY — Two collisions within minutes — and a half-block from each other — on Tuesday afternoon sent two people to local hospitals. Emergency crews responded about 3:02 p.m. to reports of a three-vehicle rear-end type collision in the inside lane of Highway 95 just south of the intersection at Marina Boulevard. Crews arriving at the crash reported a second collision on Highway 95 at the intersection of Black Mountain Road.

Back the Blue & Fire Parade to close Highway 95 Saturday morning
BULLHEAD CITY — Saturday morning's Back the Blue & Fire parade will see Highway 95 temporarily closed to accommodate the parade route. The parade starts at 9 am. and will run from Gary Keith Civic Park to Community Park. The highway will be closed on a rolling basis from Marina Boulevard to Community Park for the duration of the event.
