Aces and sluggers: Vote for the High School Softball Player of the Week
Duxbury High's Elizabeth Carroll and Riley Chaplin have been voted the High School Softball Players of the Week. The duo combined to receive nearly 13,000 votes to earn the honor. Both Dragons starred in a 9-2 win over Duxbury. Carroll went 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs. Chaplin, a freshman, pitched a complete game. Chaplin also spun a complete-game victory in a 9-1 win over Whitman-Hanson.
