INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WANE) — The Fort Wayne Swim Club and Summit City Aquatics competed in the 2024 Stadium Splash, bringing home some medals. The purpose of a Stadium Spash is to eliminate issues for meet operations prior to the trials. It also gives swimmers a chance to test the facilities and have an opportunity to improve their times. Swimmers must have also qualified for the event.

Fort Wayne Man Arrested for Not Having License
A Fort Wayne man was arrested Thursday, May 23 following a traffic stop conducted by a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department K9 deputy in the area of U.S. 30 and U.S. 31. Police say the driver, 20-year-old Wilson Ruiz Jiminez, was found to be operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license.
