Fort Wayne man gets 65 years for fatal 2021 shooting
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A 31-year-old Fort Wayne man was sentenced Friday to 65 years in prison for a fatal 2021 shooting. Tony Jackson was charged last year in connection to the death of 33-year-old Daniel Nolan. Nolan was found dead in his car near the intersection of Hanna and Oxford Streets on May 2, 2021. The defendant was charged alongside his brother, Torrese Bobo, who was found not guilty of Nolan’s murder last October.

Man surrenders after standoff in west Fort Wayne neighborhood
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A man surrendered to police Friday after an investigation by Allen County SWAT and the sheriff’s department in a west side neighborhood. Surveillance started shortly before 11:45 a.m. at a home in the 1900 block of Spring Street, according to Sgt. Adam Griffith, with SWAT coming to the scene about two hours later.
Albion man dies in motorcycle crash during police chase
CHURUBUSCO/WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WFFT) - An Albion man died in a motorcycle crash Thursday evening during a police chase. At 7:16 p.m., a Noble County Sheriff's deputy tried to pull over a motorcyclist, Kyle J. Garrett, 37, who was traveling south on SR 9 at 79 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Parks department restores Lakeside garden after 200 plants destroyed
