EVERETT—Camp Fire Snohomish County hosted their 29th annual auction fundraiser on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the Hotel Indigo on the Everett Waterfront. Over 160 guests rolled the dice and attended the Monopoly-themed auction, raising over $162,000. The event featured a playful and engaging Monopoly themed atmosphere, turning the evening into a high-stakes game of philanthropy.

A reminder of the events scheduled in Edmonds and nearby on Memorial Day to honor those who gave their lives in defense of their country:. 11 a.m.: The annual Memorial Day Observance at the Edmonds Memorial Cemetery and Columbarium, 100th Avenue West and 15th Street Southwest, one block north of the Westgate QFC. The event will take place rain or shine and is approximately one hour long. This year’s speaker is Greg Copeland, KING 5 News anchor. Eighteen fallen heroes honored at Global War on Terror Veterans Memorial in Arlington
ARLINGTON—The names of the eighteen Snohomish County residents who perished during military operations from September 11, 2001, to the present, were unveiled on Memorial Day, May 27, 2024. The names were engraved on a plaque adjacent to a sculpture by a local artist at Haller Bridge that was rededicated as the “Global War on Terror Veterans Bridge” in 2022.
