Corey Hamilton named Association of Ohio Health Commissioners board president

COLUMBUS − Corey Hamilton, health commissioner for the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department, has been named the president of the board for 2023 to 2024 for the Association of Ohio Health Commissioners at its recent fall conference.

“I look forward to leading AOHC over the coming year as we continue to act at the local, state and federal levels to support positive changes in the public’s health,” Hamilton said in a press release.

Angela DeRolph, health commissioner for Perry County, will be serving as vice president.

AOHC is the statewide association that represents the 112 local health departments in Ohio. The mission of AOHC is to promote strong local public health leadership, form meaningful relationships with local, state and federal public health stakeholders and advocate for an effective and efficient local governmental public health system.
