Vincent Boniface Gallagher 1936-2024
Vincent Boniface Gallagher was born on September 15, 1936 to William and Helen [Seipp] Gallagher in Crosby, North Dakota. Vincent was next to the youngest in a family of ten children. He had eight brothers and one sister. Vincent attended school in Crosby, North Dakota and enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of 17. After completing basic training, Vincent was assigned to the U.S.S. Bennington aircraft carrier located at the New York Naval Shipyard. He would spend the next three years going on numerous cruises aboard the U.S.S. Bennington.

The Otis High School baseball team has advanced in the Class 1A District 5 Tournament, and stand a great chance of advancing to next week’s regional round. Otis outlasted fifth-seed Caliche 15-10, Tuesday in the district quarterfinals at Akron. The Bulldogs improved to 13-4 on the season and is No. 5 in the 1A CHSAA Selection & Seeding Index. However, they just the fourth seed in District 5 as Akron, Haxtun and Merino hold the top three spots in the 1A Index.
