FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737 that was headed to Sacramento made an emergency landing at the Fresno Yosemite International Airport on Wednesday, according to airport officials.

The Southwest Airlines aircraft landed safely around 8 a.m. after the airline reported that the pilots received a maintenance indication while en route to Sacramento.

According to Flight Aware, Southwest flight WN 3113 was headed to Sacramento (SMF) after leaving Santa Anna (SNA) at 6:41 a.m.

No injuries were reported. Southwest says a separate aircraft will take the passengers to their destination.

The incident took place less than two weeks after another Southwest Airlines flight was forced to make another emergency landing at Fresno Yosemite International Airport.
