This past Saturday, March 23, 2024, the Yorktown Kitty Kat and Wildcat Track teams competed at the Skidmore- Tynan Bobcat Relays with much success. Besides Yorktown and Skidmore-Tynan, the other schools competing were: Aransas Pass, Incarnate Word Academy, Mathis, Odem, Pettus, and Victoria Home School. The Varsity Kitty Kats placed first in the Varsity Girls division, while the JV Kitty Kats placed 2nd in the JV Girls division. The Varsity Wildcats placed 2nd in the Varsity Boys Division and the JV Wildcats placed 6th in the JV Boys division.

JV Girls: Alondra Davila - 400m Dash (5th), 100m Dash (6th); Paige Deleon - Triple Jump (1st), 100m Hurdles (1st), 400m Dash (3rd); Vivian Romans - 800m Run (2nd), 1600m Run (2nd); Serena Villarreal - 1600m Run (3rd), 800m Run (5th).

Varsity Girls: Lorelai Gowens - 4x100m Relay (1st), 4x200m Relay (2nd); Rylie Krueger - 4x400m Relay (1st); Avery Martin - Long Jump (1st), 4x100m Relay (1st), 4x200m Relay (2nd), 100m Hurdles (2nd); Claire Person 4x400m Relay (1st), 4x200m Relay (2nd), Triple Jump (2nd), 100m Hurdles (5th); Kendyll Sinast - Triple Jump (1st), 4x100m Relay (1st), 4x400m Relay (1st), 4x200m Relay (2nd); Gracie Stehling - 4x400m Relay (1st), 400m Dash (6th); Nina Villarreal - 4x100m Relay (1st), 100m Hurdles (1st), 300m Hurdles (2nd), Triple Jump (3rd); Carly Weischwill - Shot Put (5th).
