Tens of thousands of people are without power on Wednesday because of heavy wet snow and strong winds.

Central Maine Power says strong winds resulted in roughly 115,000 outages on Tuesday.
That number is down to 47,000 as of 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Most of the outages are in York County.
The heavy wet snow caused some tree limbs to fall right onto power lines.
Wednesday will feature a little bit of sun and continued windy conditions. Gusts will again be in the 30 to 40 MPH range.
Winds will finally relax on Thursday and that should be the nicest day this week.
