The Spring Golf season in Wyoming is winding down. Only seven events are left after the weather wiped out Monday’s Casper Spring Invite. Class 2A schools venture to Torrington for their spring championship over two days this week. Wheatland, Lander, and Star Valley are hosting one-day events. The two Casper schools will play their trophy match-up on Friday. It’s Week 7 of the spring season, and only two events are next week.
Find ‘Adventure’ this summer at the Morrill Public Library
The Morrill Public Library is making plans for its Summer Library Program “Adventure Begins At Your Library,” which runs from May 21 to July 18. Joey May, Community & Youth Services Librarian, said the summer is full of special presentations, regular Kids Kraft and Teen activities at the library, K-State Extension programs - and, of course, reading!
PREP TRACK: Plainsmen have strong showing at Wiseman Invite
The Laramie High outdoor track and field team won nine events at the Wiseman Invite on Friday in Torrington. The Plainsmen girls totaled 179.66 team points to top second-place Cheyenne Central (128.33) and third-place Torrington (106). The boys tallied 170 points to finish second, trailing first-place Central (177).
