The War of the Walls is a local tradition where each year, students from each Billings and Laurel high school are chosen to paint a mural representing each of their schools on a MasterLube store. Then the winner is decided through an online vote.

A benefit roping event for Billy Slabbert, a 4-year-old Cowley boy with cerebral palsy, attracted more than 120 teams.
