WYANDOTTE COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 10p.m. Saturday in Wyandotte County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Harley Davidson FLTRX driven by Keith Payne, 52, San Diego, California, was westbound on Interstate 70 at Minnesota Avenue.
The motorcycle struck the right barrier wall. The rider was ejected. Payne was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to First Call. The KHP did not report if he was wearing a helmet.
