    Traffic Alert: 17th Street ramp to be closed in downtown Altoona

    ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — The City of Altoona is advising drivers to find another way to 17th Street from downtown on Friday.

    The off-ramp from the 10th Avenue Expressway to 17th Street will be closed Sept. 13 for work on the island.

    Drivers are asked to use an alternate route to get to 17th Street including using the 18th Street ramp during the closure.

    The City expects the ramp to be closed all day Friday.
