    Woman reported missing found safe, deputies say

    UPDATE (9/10) – The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office announced that Avis was located safely.


    GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a woman in need of immediate medical attention.

    According to the sheriff’s office, Avis Marissa McGinnity was last seen around 4 p.m. Monday, near East Phillips Road in Greer. She was seen in a white Infiniti QX60 SUV with the tag TLM650.

    McGinnity, 46, is a white woman with brown eyes and salt and pepper, medium length hair. She was last seen wearing a white and blue dress. Deputies said she has a tattoo on her left forearm.

    Officials said McGinnity may be in or around Anderson County.

    Anyone who sees Avis or knows her whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
