Man arrested in Glynn County shooting

BRUNSWICK, Ga. (WSAV) – One man has been arrested in connection to a shooting in Glynn County.

Wednesday night, a shooting in the 1100 block of Lake Drive left one man injured, according to the Glynn County Police Department (GCPD)

The victim is expected to be OK.

GCPD said investigators identified the shooter as Justin Smith, 34, of Brunswick. Investigators also searched the home where the shooting happened.

Smith was found hiding in a vehicle at a nearby business, officials said.

He was transported to the Glynn County Detention Center and charged with aggravated assault, reckless conduct, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and an unrelated violation of probation arrest warrant.
