The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking information on three elk that were illegally shot and left to waste southeast of Wright. On April 24, a member of the public discovered and reported two dead bull elk while recreating on public land in the Rochelle Hills area near Mackey Road.

Wright’s Jazmin McOmber Inks with Hastings College for Volleyball
Wright volleyball player Jazmin McOmber certainly has enough talent to play at the college level and has committed to the Hastings College program in Nebraska. She was an All-State performer in her senior season with the Panthers from the libero spot and recorded 479 digs which led 2A. McOmber was also named to the 2A All-State list as a junior and finished her prep career with a whopping 1527 digs. Her serving percentage over the course of the last two seasons was 91.6%. Over that same period, the Panthers won 40 matches.
